watercolor paintings, New Mexico during the Cretaceous Watercolor (Southwest/New Mexico)

In stock

"New Mexico during the Cretaceous" is a watercolor painting by Sue Jimenez. The painting features the mysterious skies over New Mexico during the Cretaceous period. Pterodactyls (Jurassic) fly over the strange landscape and a few dinosaurs roam. Of course, we all know that the dinosaurs didn't show up until the Mesozoic period, but artistic interpretation is my theme and what it might have looked like in New Mexico so many eons ago. The painting is framed in a 5.75" by 7.75" black plastic frame, with glass, which can be hung or can be freestanding., southwest
